Aporocactus flagelliformis, sometimes referred to as the dog tail cactus or rat tail cactus, is a trailing species native to Mexico with short spines, bright green flesh and large, tubular red flowers at the tips. Because it is a succulent subshrub with a creeping habit, it probably prefers to grow in the understory beneath other plants. This means it needs a bit of sun protection. Rooted offsets in 4" pots, shipped bare root. Beautiful in a hanging basket!
