An easy to grow Dorstenia that can take many different environments. In the shade, grows deep green leaves with a green caudex. In sun, grows a thickened base with smaller, paler leaves. Readily self sows. 3" pot size, shipped bare root.
This plant pouts after being shipped...the leaves might fall off but it perks back up within a few days. It also concentrates the amount of alkaloids in its system, as a defense, which gives it a strong odor of ammonia when under stress. This goes away once it's been repotted and watered. It is a remarkably durable plant with some really interesting defense mechanisms!

If temperatures will be much lower than 20℉ please leave us a note with your order asking us to hold your order until a given date as heat packs will fail at temps much lower than 20℉.
