Adenia globosa is one of the most collectable adenias, from the same family as the passionfruit vine, is a caudex plant from West Africa and Yemen with small leaves and spiny growth atop the thickened trunk. The small, cream colored, dioecious flowers attract butterflies. Protect from frost. Young plants should be protected from full, summer sun but older specimens can take more sun. This species is not related to 'Adenium', the popular "Desert Rose."
Rooted cuttings, 5" pot. Over time, the base will swell and form a caudex.
