These are seed grown. Adenia stylosa is a rare species with nearly black leaves. Grows a lumpy base with bright green protrusions, small yellow inconspicuous flowers. Last pictures are of the mother plants. Such an oddball. 4" pot size, shipped in pot.

After a week, it's already growing new green-purple foliage and noticeably increasing in size -- quite "fast" growing for a caudiciform, like the more "common" Adenia species, which all enjoy quite a bit of water while active.
