Forms one of the largest caudexes in the plant kingdom. Also known as the Monkey Chair Plant. Makes a gorgeous vine with green berries that eventually turn yellow. Caudex grows fairly quickly in relative terms. This is a very large specimen shown in an 18" bowl. The caudex is 8-10 inches wide. This is one of our breeders; it has been producing seed for us for quite some time. There are currently unripe fruits on the vine. Exact HUGE plant shown, shipped bare root. OLD plant.

We ship all orders Mon-Wed excluding federal holidays. If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a heat pack to your order. If temperatures will be much lower than 20℉ please leave us a note with your order asking us to hold your order until a given date as heat packs will fail at temps much lower than 20℉.
