50% fully organic, triple washed, and buffered coco coir, 50% perlite. (Must add your own fertilizer) This is the base mix we use for most plants here at the nursery.
Coco coir is better for your plants and better for the planet than peat moss. Peat based products are harvested from bogs that have taken hundreds, if not thousands of years, to form as dead plant material piled on dead plant material. Once harvested, it's not coming back anytime soon. Coir comes from the shell and fibers of coconuts and is 100% renewable!
