This is the rarest of all the pachypodium species, a relatively new member of the densiflorum complex named in 2014. The growth is similar to brevicaule, yet the flowers are quite different, resembling a intermediate between densiflorum with extruded stigmas and rounded petals of brevicaule. Flowers are large, bright yellow, on short petioles. It is extraordinary to find one this size. Grafted on lamerei stock, but advanced enough in growth that it is almost obliterated. 6" diameter plant with multiple heads. Breathtaking plant.
