A pachycaul tree that grows a thick base covered in tubercles (we call them warts, but they are really attractive!), and graceful, laterally growing branches that form a lattice or ladder pattern as the tree grows upwards. The leaves are tiny, petite, shiny and very attractive. Reddish flowers are inconspicuous. This is a fantastic bonsai candidate! Also known as the Jabily Tree, and yet another plant that has obtained the nickname "Elephant Tree."
