Fockea edulis is a vining member of the apocynaceae (milkweed) family that forms an enormous caudex. Fockeas are dioecious, which means a male plant and a female plant are needed to produce seeds. Even though the flowers are pollinated by fruit flies, I think they have a nice scent. Can be very dramatic for Bonsai when the vines are trellised or allowed to cascade down. We ship all orders Mon-Wed excluding federal holidays. If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a heat pack to your order. If temperatures will be much lower than 20℉ please leave us a note with your order asking us to hold your order until a given date as heat packs will fail at temps much lower than 20℉.
