Another member of the euphorbia milii group (Crown of Thorns) from Madagascar's spiny forest. This is like a crossover from the medusoid type of euphorbias into the milii type...the branches form a bulbous part where the other branches emerge in a halo shape. It's really unique! Nicely colored foliage and flowers. Mature plants have a lovely, round ball shape. It's the only member of the milii group with a clearly defined stem, and it's the most northern species in the milii complex. It grows ONLY on the top of Windsor Rock and the Castle Rock valley in Madagascar. Very rare species with a tiny distribution. Not difficult to grow. Special plant! 3" pot size, branching plants. Shipped bare root.
