A medium growing, spineless and most desirable agave with dark green skin and white impressions on each leaf that look painted. Sharp black points on each leaf. This is a decorative and beautiful growing species. Often nicknamed Queen of the Agaves, or Artichoke Agave. Other descriptions call this a solitary agave, but it occasionally will produce offsets. All agaves die after flowering, but seem to take a century to do so, hence the nickname Century Plant.

Threatened species due to poaching and habitat loss!

Large plants!

CITES appx. II. No export

All plants are hand selected by our team, we pick out the biggest and best in stock! Smaller plants like seedlings may be shipped in pot at our discretion

We ship all orders Mon-Wed excluding federal holidays. If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a heat pack to your order. If temperatures will be much lower than 20℉ please leave us a note with your order asking us to hold your order until a given date as heat packs will fail at temps much lower than 20℉.
