This is a naturally occurring hybrid of agave asperrima and agave ferdinandi-regis, which is a taxonomic tangle in and of itself. I'm not even going there. Despite this confusing kerfuffle, this agave is pretty neat. The skin is like sandpaper, hence the name Sharkskin. It grows in an upright fashion with spineless margins and sharp black tips. Incredibly easy to grow and drought tolerant! 5" pot size, shipped bare root.
